LOCATED: 12-year-old safe after reported missing from Fairfax County

ANNANDALE, Va. - UPDATE: Police say 12-year-old Edward Martinez has been located and is safe.

Police are searching for a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing Thanksgiving morning in Fairfax County.

Officers say Edward Martinez was last seen leaving the 7900 block of John Adams Court in Annandale around 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

Martinez is described by police as 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes, black shorts, and white and blue shoes.

Officials say he is considered endangered due to his age. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 703-691-2131.
