Local students compete in the 7th annual culinary challenge

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - More than 100 students from five local school districts competed in Real Food for Kids 7th Annual Culinary Challenge on Saturday.

The competitors were judged by celebrity chefs as they vied for a chance to have their dishes added to the school lunch menu.

Their goal was to cook up a healthy, mouth-watering school lunch that even picky eaters couldn't resist.
