Kensington man charged with murder after argument escalates at home
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - A deadly shooting in Kensington on Monday evening has led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man.

What we know:
Benjamin Jack Dresbach, of Kensington, was taken into custody following the death of 29-year-old Trevor Dean Van Devander of Sykesville.
After receiving a call reporting the shooting, Montgomery County police responded to the home in the 3900 block of Franklin Street around 5:40 p.m.
When they arrived, they found Van Devander suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the two men had been inside Dresbach's residence when an altercation escalated into the fatal shooting.

Dresbach was arrested shortly after and has been charged with second-degree murder. He is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
Van Devander's body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy, which will determine the official cause of death.
