Hundreds of bikes given away to elementary school students

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - About 160 kids received free bikes in San Diego County Thursday.

It was a holiday surprise no one expected at Lemon Grove Elementary in California.

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System donated the bikes.

The kids also got helmets and goodie bags.

It's part of a larger program that will see MTS giving out more than 700 free bikes across the area.
