Hot and humid Thursday with chance for afternoon, evening thunderstorms
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Get ready for more hot and humid conditions around the D.C region on Thursday with the chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. FOX 5's Mike Thomas says expect a sunny, bright and warm start with morning temperatures in the 60s and 70s before things heat up into the 90s again this afternoon.

Scattered storms are possible sometime between the 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. hours, Mike says. Another later round of thunderstorms could move in between the 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. hours.
Wednesday brought us some of the hottest temperatures of the year so far, Mike says, with highs in the low to mid-90s. We'll get some relief from the heat and humidity on Friday with highs around 85 degrees. The weekend looks comfortable with temperatures in the mid-80s but we can't rule out the possibility for thunderstorms each day.
