Head-on collision closes road in Loudoun County

LEESBURG, Va. - Police say two people were transported after a serious head-on crash in Loudoun County.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Route 15 just south of Montresor Road near Leesburg. Route 15 remains closed to traffic at this time.

Authorities say both victims were hospitalized. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
