FOX 5 volunteers with Humane Rescue Alliance during 21st Century Fox's Impact Week

WASHINGTON - FOX 5 joined the Humane Rescue Alliance in Northwest D.C. on Wednesday to help make toys for dogs and cats during 21st Century Fox's Impact Week.

The Humane Rescue Alliance cares for and helps finding loving homes for cats, dogs, and many other species.

FOX 5 kicked off Impact Week on Monday by helping Capital Area Food Bank in Northeast to sort and stock shelves. On Tuesday, our team joined 21st Century Fox and National Geographic to help assemble materials for military care packages.

On Thursday, FOX 5 will join National Geographic Explorer Clare Fiesler to clean up the Anacostia River from kayaks. Our Impact Week will conclude on Friday with a service project at the National Mall and Memorial Parks.
