Firefighters put out house fire in Brandywine

BRANDYWINE, Md. - Firefighters have put out a large fire at a single-family home in Brandywine.

The fire started at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday in the 13100 block of Molly Berry Road, fire officials say.

There was no one inside of the home at the time of the blaze. There was extensive damaged to the house and the family that occupies the home will be displaced.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
