Fire destroys food truck in downtown DC

WASHINGTON - Firefighters are searching for a cause after flames destroyed a food truck near Metro Center in downtown D.C. Tuesday.

The fire broke out in the back of the DC Doner food truck along the 700 block of 12th Street, Northwest.

Crews soaked the inside of the truck and prevented the flames from spreading to nearby vehicles.

No injuries were reported.
