Fire department activity causes delays along Metro's Red Line near Farragut North station
WASHINGTON - An electrical issue along the tracks near Metro's Farragut North station caused delays along a portion of the Red Line Tuesday morning, officials say.
The situation was reported around 8 a.m. outside of the Farragut North station.
Red Line train service had been suspended between Farragut North and Gallery Place. Buses were be put into place to transport passengers. Trains were single-tracking along that portion of the line around 9 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
