Fire damages several units at self-storage facility in Upper Marlboro

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Emergency crews worked to extinguish flames at an Upper Marlboro storage facility Tuesday.

The fire occurred at the Fort Knox Self Storage building on the 15400 block of Depot Lane shortly before 12 p.m.

Numerous storage lockers were damaged in the fire.

Several area roads were blocked after fire crews responded.
