A fiery crash involving a tractor trailer caused major delays in Prince George's County. The crash happened early Thursday morning on northbound Interstate 95 just after Route 198 in the Laurel area.

Authorities believe the tractor trailer struck a disabled vehicle in the middle of the roadway. None of the vehicle's occupants were inside during the crash. No injuries were reported.

Police said that a second tractor trailer trying to drive around the crash scene caused additional delays.

All lanes of northbound Interstate 95 were closed for several hours with drivers being detoured.

All lanes were reopened around 8 a.m. but delays lingered through the morning.
