Fatal stabbing at Arlington business leaves one dead, two injured
Arlington County police are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred inside a business on North Glebe Road. Two men with serious injuries were taken to a hospital. Another man was pronounced dead at the scene.
ARLINGTON, Va. - A stabbing inside a business on North Glebe Road on Wednesday night left one man dead and two others seriously injured.
What we know:
The Arlington County Police Department responded to a report of an assault with injury at 5:11 p.m. on Nov. 26.
Officers found two men with serious injuries outside the business and another man deceased inside. The injured men were taken to a hospital. One has since been released and is expected to make a full recovery; the other remains in the hospital but is in stable condition.
The investigation suggests that the deceased man initiated the assault, and several knives were recovered from the scene. He has since been identified as Jonathan Alexander Diaz Chavez, 32.
Police do not believe there are any outstanding suspects, and the community is not considered at risk.
