Fairfax County firefighter in contact with family

WASHINGTON - Authorities say a Fairfax County Firefighter that had been reported missing has been in contact with his family.

According to D.C. Police, 40-year-old Brian Wood had last been seen in the 3600 block of Veazey Street, Northwest, on Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was reported missing on May 20, 2017.

On Monday, police say Wood had been in contact with his family. No other information is available at this time.
