Drowned toddler comes back to life in mother's arms
(FOX 32 News) - It's a miracle in Missouri.
A 3-year-old girl came back to life in her mother's arms after drowning in a pool.
Alise Nipper's heart had stopped for a full 12 minutes. Her mother found her lifeless body under a pool float moments after losing track of her at a party.
After 12 minutes of CPR, her heart started beating again. Six days later, the young girl was awake and singing with her parents.
And in just 2 weeks, Alise was fully recovered.
Doctors said they were "astounded" by the girl's survival and recovery given the level of trauma her body endured, crediting "prayer, luck and Divine intervention."
