WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump will be in attendance when the Washington Commanders take on the Detroit Lions in their Week 10 matchup today.
What we know:
The Commanders confirmed the Commander-in-Chief's plans to FOX 5 Friday.
Sunday's game against Detroit is the team's "Salute to Service" game, part of the NFL's initiative to honor the military.
According to ESPN's Pat McAfee, Trump will be at Northwest Stadium on Sunday to watch the halftime show in the owner's box with Commanders Owner Josh Harris.

Why you should care:
Because of the President's visit to the stadium, security will be tightened, including TSA-style screening. The Commanders are urging fans to get to the stadium as early as possible and to review the stadiums list of prohibited items before Sunday's game.
Parking lots will open starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, with all gates opening at 2 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m.
