DC police looking for car, 4 suspects in Shaw shooting of 3 people
WASHINGTON - Police are looking for four suspects and a car involved in the shooting of three people late Saturday evening in the Shaw area of the District, according to officials.
Police say they're looking for a black 2016 Mazda Hatchback with a New York license plate "HER3782." The vehicle was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.
D.C. police said the shooting happened at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near the Shaw-Howard University Metro station. Three people were standing in the 1700 block of 8th Street NW when they were shot at by the four people in the Mazda.
According to police, the three men were shot and were conscious and breathing and were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
