DC nightclub evacuated after deck problems
WASHINGTON - A D.C. nightclub was evacuated Sunday after the rooftop deck showed sings of failing.
A District fire department spokesman says the weight of the people on the deck caused the joints to crack, as a result, the deck stated to bow or sink. The deck did not collapse and no one was hurt.
The incident happened at, Uproar, a club in the 600 block of Florida Avenue, NW.
Emergency crews check the roof of an adjacent building to make sure it does not have similar problems.
