DC investigates homicide in southeast

D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting in the southeast.

The shooting happened in the 300 block of Ridge Road around 12:20 a.m. Monday.

Police say an adult male was shot in the head, possibly in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Officers have word on a motive or suspect at this time.
