Couple celebrates 70th wedding anniversary with photo shoot

High school sweethearts Ferris and Margaret Romaire celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with an adorable photo shoot that they never had.

The Romaires married on November 24th, 1946 and say they have no photos of their special day.

The couple's granddaughter contacted photographer Lara Carter to arrange a surprise photo shoot to celebrate their big anniversary.

The shoot took place on October 12 in Pearland, Texas and 90-year-old Ferris wore a tux while 89-year-old Margaret wore a lavender gown and a veil.

They sipped champagne, hugged and looked like they had an amazing time during the photo shoot.

The photographer told The Huffington Post, "You can see the love between them in the way they interacted with each other and laughed together as we would go from the different poses. They are a beautiful example of what marriage is meant to be."

Happy anniversary to the Romaires!
