Continuing to watch 2 winter weather threats into the weekend and early next week
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A mix of sun and clouds with chilly temperatures on Wednesday as we keep an eye on two winter weather systems that could possibly impact the D.C. region through the weekend and into the beginning of next week.
FOX 5's Mike Thomas says we're currently in a quiet weather pattern after strong winds whipped through our region Monday. Seasonable temperatures around 50 degrees can be expected both Wednesday and Thursday.

The first system to keep an eyes on will move in late Thursday into Friday morning and will pass quickly through our area bringing a slight possibility of light snow or mix. By 8 a.m. on Friday the system should have already moved out of our region, Thomas says. The second half of Friday looks clear but a soggy Saturday morning with rain showers is likely.
The second possible winter weather system could begin late Sunday night and continue into the morning on Monday. At this time, it is unclear if this system will bring rain or snow to the area.
Sick of the winter weather yet? Just remember -- spring is on the way!
