Construction workers injured after scaffolding collapse in Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Four construction workers have been injured in a fall after a scaffolding collapse in Silver Spring, fire officials said.

The accident happened at a construction site on Georgia Avenue near Blueridge Avenue Monday afternoon.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer tweeted that the workers fell about 15 to 20 feet from the scaffold.
