Comstock, Bennett square-off in debate in race for Northern Virginia congressional seat

TYSONS, Va. - The two candidates involved in a northern Virginia congressional race that many consider a toss-up squared-off in a debate on Wednesday.

Republican Representative Barbara Comstock and Democrat LuAnn Bennett met at the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce in Tysons Corner for the discussion that began around 8:30 a.m. Both are running for a seat in the 10th Congressional District of Virginia.

The debate got off to a rocky start when about ten minutes into discussion, audio issues forced the two candidates to step away from the podiums. When they returned, the dialog focused on federal spending, trade policies and transportation issues.
