Charges after police say Anne Arundel County schools threatened on social media over weekend
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Police say more than one person has been identified and charged after threats were made against schools in Anne Arundel County.
The threats were made over the weekend, Anne Arundel County Police said on their Twitter account. "Please talk with children about seriousness of these types of post and that they are not 'funny'," said police.
Authorities say there is no danger at any school and that officers will be visible throughout the day. "Parents, please talk with kids and relay that these messages are taken very serious and they will be held accountable," police said.
