'Bourne 5' starring Matt Damon scheduled to film in DC this week

The filming of the next "Bourne" movie starring Matt Damon is scheduled to take place in the nation's capital this week.

A casting call for the production of "Bourne 5" was announced last week by the D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development. The announcement says the shooting dates in D.C. are scheduled from Dec. 2-5 and on Dec. 7.

The movie is looking to cast local actors between the ages of 20 and 55 -- D.C. residents preferred -- to fill background roles, stand-ins and photo doubles.

Damon is reprising his role of Jason Bourne in this sequel, which is the fifth installment of the spy thriller series. The film is expected to be released in 2016.
