Body found in pond in Chantilly

CHANTILLY, Va. - Fairfax County police said a body was found in a pond in Chantilly Wednesday afternoon.

The body was located in the 3900 block of Centerview Drive at around 4:51 p.m. The pond is located behind the Wingate by Wyndham hotel in the area.

A dive team pulled the male victim out of the water at around 7 p.m.

Fairfax County police tweeted that this death is not believed to be suspicious and an autopsy will be conducted.

FOX 5's Marina Marraco reports that investigators saw no signs of trauma to the body and believe it is a suicide.
