Armed man robs Giant store of $100 worth of Tide laundry detergent

WHEATON, Md. - Montgomery County police say a man armed with a knife stole about $100 worth of Tide laundry detergent from a Giant store in Wheaton.

The robbery happened at the store located on University Boulevard West at around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 15

Police say when the robber was confronted by a store manager, the suspect threatened the employee with a large knife before leaving the area on foot.
