Arlington Public Schools restart bus camera program
ARLINGTON, Va. - If you are driving through school zones in Arlington County on Monday - watch out! Arlington Public Schools restarted their bus camera program Monday morning.
The stop arm cameras were used last year to get drivers to slow down in school zones and not pass stopped school buses. But the program was stopped a few weeks in after the Virginia attorney general ruled the violations couldn't be mailed.
State rules were changed and now the citations are once again a go.
