Ann Curry out at NBC, reports say

Ann Curry is leaving NBC over two and a half years after her "Today" departure, according to multiple reports.

A senior NBC executive confirmed to Deadline that Curry will leave the network and her position as Anchor at Large on "Today."

NBC is expected to announce an exit deal for Curry following weeks of negotiations to terminate her contract, a source told the New York Post.

"Ann has been unhappy for a long time because she's basically doing nothing, while NBC is unhappy that she has been paid a lot of money to do nothing," an NBC source told Page Six.

A representative for NBC was not made immediately available to FOX411 for comment.

Prior to her teary departure from "Today" in 2012, Curry appeared infrequently on-air. Her contract is reportedly worth $12 million a year.

The 58-year-old is reportedly planning to announce her own production company.
