All clear at Duke Ellington School of the Arts after evacuation due to report of suspicious package

WASHINGTON - An all clear was given at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Northwest, D.C. after it was evacuated due to a report of a suspicious package.

The incident was reported around 11:30 a.m. The all clear was signaled around 1:20 p.m.

Officials say students were evacuated to Rose L. Hardy Middle School in the Northwest. No injuries were reported. Parts of R Street, between 35th and 36th Streets, nd S Street, between 35th and 36th Streets, were closed while police investigated.
