6 escape overnight house fire in Germantown; charcoal grill to blame

GERMANTOWN, Md. - Six people escaped a house fire overnight in Montgomery County.

The fire happened in the 13000 block of Tilford Court at around 3:30 a.m.

Investigators say the fire appeared to have started in a charcoal grill on the deck of the house.

Damages are estimated at around $150K.
