5 rescued after tree falls on car in southwest DC

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Five people were rescued after a large tree fell on a car in southwest DC. 

The massive tree crashed onto the car in the 4700 block 1st St SW. DC firefighters were able to safely removed the five occupants who were temporarily trapped in their vehicle.

Officials say all of the injuries were minor and they are continuing to clear the debris.
