Gunmen open fire at DC construction site

Multiple suspects are in custody after dozens of gunshots rained down on a D.C. construction site on Thursday.

Two people were injured after a drive-by shooting ended in a crash near John Eaton Elementary School in Cleveland Park Thursday.

Police say two adult men were hit by gunfire in the incident. They were left with non-life-threatening injuries.

The school is a construction site and no children were there. 

Responding officers pursued the suspect vehicle, which crashed at Chaplin and F St SE in Northwest DC. Four people were taken into custody and weapons were recovered.
