2-year-old drowns at Loudoun County pool, another in critical condition
STERLING, Va. - A 2-year-old girl drowned and a 2-year-old boy is in critical condition after an accident at a residential pool in Loudoun County on Saturday morning.
Deputies received the call at around 10:45 a.m. and responded to a home on Acorn Ct. in Sterling.
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said two children, a boy and a girl, were transported to Inova Loudoun Hospital where the girl passed away.
Troxell confirmed the boy was transferred to Inova Fairfax Hospital and is in critical condition.
