2 more cold-related deaths reported in Maryland

BALTIMORE (AP) — State health officials say two more people have died as a result of the cold weather this winter.

The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said in a report Wednesday that the two died in the week ending Monday.

The deaths include a woman between the ages of 18 and 44 in Prince George's County, and a man over 65 in Carroll County.

Officials say 21 people have died from cold-related causes in Maryland this winter.
