The bitter cold temperatures were back Wednesday morning just in time to make your commute to school and work miserable! But hey -- we've had it worse.

One year ago today, the D.C. region was in the middle of its first measurable snowfall of 2015. Over two inches of snow fell across the area right in the middle of the morning rush-hour.

With temperatures in the 20s -- all of the snow that fell stuck. Backups and accidents sprung up everywhere as road conditions deteriorated fast. Several school buses in Fairfax County even became stuck during their commutes.

The snow came from a clipper system that dumped more snow on us than was originally expected.

So don't feel too sorry for yourself today!

Even though we'll only get up to a chilly 42 degrees -- just remember -- we've had it worse!
