WASHINGTON - The much needed break form the intense heat and humidity continues Thursday with another warm and mostly sunny day and the chance for showers later in the afternoon.
FOX 5's Mike Thomas says high temperatures will be around 86 degrees with a slight breeze from the north keeping the humidity at bay for the most part. Isolated showers could move into the area sometime after 3 p.m. but Mike says most of the area is expected to stay dry.
The comfortable conditions should stay with us through the rest of the week with temperatures rising and the humidity making its return once we reach the weekend.
