Hot and sunny Thursday with isolated storms possible later in the day
WASHINGTON - The D.C. region is getting a much needed break from thunderstorms on Thursday after a stormy Wednesday afternoon.
It will still be on the warm side as we expect to see our afternoon temperatures climb to around 91 degrees. There will be plenty of sunshine to soak up too -- so it's looking good for a trip to the pool!
We may have an isolated shower Thursday evening but we expect most places to be clear to partly cloudy as we head back to near 70 in the overnight hours.
