Cloudy skies to give way to evening rain Wednesday in the DMV

Cloudy skies, evening rain likely Wednesday for World Series Game 7 Watch Party at Nats Park

Bring the umbrella if you’re planning to head down to Nationals Park Wednesday night for the World Series Game 7 Watch Party.

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - The skies may be gray this morning but the mood is electric as the Nationals win last night sent the World Series to yet another do-or-die dramatic finish in Houston!

Wednesday starts dry and not too cool with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s throughout the DMV.

Despite the cloud cover, we also expect temperatures to climb into the mid-60s to near 70 by mid-afternoon.

Showers creep closer late in the day and overspread the area during evening rush hour.  

If you're going to the Game 7 Watch Party at Nats Park, you will need your rain gear as showers look to continue through the night.
