Fairfax County launches grant program to help victims of flooding

Fairfax County residents are now eligible to receive up to $5,000 to help minimize the impact of flooding on their homes, condos or houses of worship. The county has launched its first-ever Flood Mitigation Assistance Program, also known as FMAP. It went into effect on July 1 but so far, no one has applied for the assistance.
