Virginia ABC launches text message program
Virginia's Alcoholic Beverage Control authority is launching a new text messaging system for limited availablty products. Starting Tuesday, customers can sign up for drop notifications by texting "drops" to 80424. This will be in addition to the email notifications already going out. This is for products like bourbon where demand often exceeds supply. Customers must attest they are at least 21 years old to use the messaging system.
