Student test scores drop nationwide
The Nation?s Report Card from the National Center of Educational Progress (NAEP) shows the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on students across the country. Students in fourth and eighth grade scored poorly in math and reading on standardized tests, and many are not meeting grade-level expectations. The superintendent of Partnership Schools Katherine Porter Magee says the statistics are alarming, but not surprising to those who work in the education space.
