The San Francisco 49ers only needed nine points to keep their undefeated season alive.

And the Redskins didn't score at all as their forgettable 2019 campaign continues.

Persistent rain throughout the game kept the contest close Sunday at FedEx Field.

Both the 49ers and Redskins focused on the run, but only the 49ers were able to get on the board. They made three field goals to seal the win.

The loss drops the Redskins to 1-6 on the year.

They play next at Minnesota on Thursday Night Football on Fox 5.
