WASHINGTON - Alison Thresher disappeared on May 24, 2000. For many months, it was a missing person's case - despite evidence that Alison would have never taken off on her own. New detectives on the case are convinced that Alison was murdered inside her apartment and that the suspect tried to set up the crime scene to make it look like a suicide. FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick takes us through the mistakes made in the initial investigation and evidence, which have never been released to the public before now.
Missing Pieces, a FOX 5 DC True Crime podcast, shines a light on the cases that have left us with more questions than answers.
