A woman is dead after she was shot and killed inside an Accokeek home Wednesday.
ACCOKEEK, Md. - A woman is dead after she was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend inside an Accokeek home Wednesday.
Woman found dead after Accokeek shooting
The shooting was reported around 12:15 a.m. in the 15700 block of Livingston Road.
Investigators say the woman – identified as 37-year-old Edna Lyles of Accokeek – was found inside suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police charge shooting victim's boyfriend
Images from the scene show the residence being located in an industrial area where multiple vehicles were kept. A sign for a body shop could be seen on one of the buildings.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged 31-year-old David Wilson Jr. of Accokeek in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Lyles.

The preliminary investigation revealed Wilson shot Lyles during an argument. Patrol officers arrested him not far from the home.
