Water main break confirmed near Dupont Circle

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A water main break in northwest DC near Dupont Circle has been confirmed by DC Water and crews are on the scene.

The break is at Connecticut Ave. and N St. NW, Metrobus said on Twitter.

DC Water says a 12-inch line that runs across Connecticut Ave. broke, leaving a number of businesses and restaurants without water.

There have been no reports of businesses flooded and the water has been turned off.
