It was a breathtaking sight Monday morning in Three Sisters Springs, Fla, where an estimated 300 manatees huddled together, trying to stay warm,

A video showing rows and rows of the docile mammals was posted to a Citrus County, Fla. Facebook page that same day. It's since gone viral, garnering more than 350,000 views and nearly 10,000 shares in less than 24 hours.

Wildlife officials later announced that the spring at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge would be closed, as more manatees were expected to flock to the area.

Staff was expected to reassess the situation at sun-up Tuesday, and decide whether or not to reopen the spring to the public.

In the meantime, Three Sisters Springs will be a safe, and warm haven, for the manatees.
