VIDEO: Woman runs out of Va. jewelry store with $13,000 watch
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Fredericksburg police are looking for help to identify a woman who stole a $13,000 watch from a jewelry store.
The suspect came into the Crown Jewelers store at 200 William Street at around 3:17 p.m. on March 9 and asked to try on a silver and gold Rolex wristwatch.
Police said she put on the watch and spoke with the salesperson for a few minutes before running out of the store with the item. The woman was last seen heading east on Caroline Street turning onto Market Square.
The suspect is described as a black female with a slender build, 5'4" to 5'5" tall, with short curly hair. She was wearing a charcoal grey t-shirt, black pants, running shoes with pink stripes and was carrying a black clutch purse with a turquoise stripe.
