WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - D.C. police are investigating after a man was gunned down near Savoy Elementary School in Southeast on Wednesday.
Investigators responded to the scene at the intersection Martin Luther King Jr. Southeast and Talbert Street Southeast around 12:48 p.m.
The victim has not been identified, saying only that he is in his late 20s.
Police are looking for a black male suspect who was wearing a black mask.
They say he fled in a black SUV.
Police Chief Peter Newsham is reportedly headed to the scene.
