LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. - Authorities have arrested a suspected fentanyl dealer and identified him as a suspected dealer connected to overdoses involving students at Park View High School, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says.

Isaac Melendez‑Carranza, 31, of Sterling, was arrested following an investigation into suspected fentanyl distribution.
Melendez‑Carranza is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance and one count of sale of drugs near certain properties. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Investigators say Melendez‑Carranza was identified as a suspected dealer connected to overdoses involving students at Park View High School in May 2026.
He was taken into custody on August 20 after deputies executed search warrants, during which suspected narcotics and U.S. currency were seized.
